Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: September 2026

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Done Entertainment Law website, including its content, features, forms, and related online services collectively, the "Site." By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Terms & Conditions

General Information Only

The Site is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. Nothing on the Site constitutes legal advice, and no information on the Site should be relied upon as a substitute for advice from an attorney who has evaluated your specific circumstances.

The law changes changes frequently, and information on the Site may not reflect the most current legal developments. Done Entertainment Law does not guarantee that any information on the Site is complete, current, or applicable to your situation.

No Attorney-Client Relationship

Accessing the Site, submitting a contact form, sending an email, scheduling a consultation, or communicating with Done Entertainment Law does not create an attorney-client relationship. An attorney-client relationship is formed only after:

  1. Done Entertainment Law has completed a conflicts review

  2. Done Entertainment Law has expressly agreed to represent you

  3. You and Done Entertainment Law have entered into a written engagement agreement.

Done Entertainment Law has no obligation to represent you unless these requirements have been satisfied.

Do Not Submit Confidential Information

Information submitted through the Site before an attorney-client relationship is established may not be confidential or protected by the attorney-client privilege. Don't send confidential, sensitive, proprietary, or time-sensitive information through the Site unless the Firm has expressly authorized you to do so.

Submitting information does not prevent Done Entertainment Law from representing another party whose interests may be adverse to yours, subject to applicable law and professional obligations.

No Guarantee of Results

Descriptions of services, representative matters, professional experience, testimonials, or other information on the Site don't guarantee or predict the outcome of any future matter.

Every legal matter is different, and outcomes depend on the particular facts, circumstances, parties, law, and other factors involved.

Jurisdictional Limitations
Done Entertainment Law provides legal services only in jurisdictions where its attorneys are licensed, authorized, or otherwise permitted to practice. The Site may be accessible in jurisdictions where the Firm doesn't practice. Accessing the Site from another jurisdiction doesn't establish that the Firm is authorized to provide legal services there. Legal representation is currently limited to matters that the Firm determines it's authorized and competent to handle. Matters involving another jurisdiction may be limited, declined, or referred to other counsel.

Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the Site and its content, including its text, graphics, branding, logos, designs, downloads, photographs, videos, audio, and other materials, are owned by or licensed to the Firm and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The Firm grants you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to access and use the Site for personal, lawful, and noncommercial purposes.

You may not, without prior written permission:

  • Copy, reproduce, republish, sell, license, or distribute Site content

  • Modify or create derivative works from Site content

  • Use Done Entertainment Law’s name, logo, or branding

  • Remove copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices

  • Use Site content to train, develop, or operate an artificial intelligence system

  • Scrape, extract, harvest, or systematically collect Site content

  • Represent that Done Entertainment Law sponsors, approves, or is affiliated with you or your activities.

No rights are granted except those expressly stated in these Terms.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site for an unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or related systems

  • Interfere with the Site’s availability, security, or operation

  • Introduce malware, harmful code, or disruptive technology

  • Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract Site content

  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity

  • Submit content that infringes another person’s rights

  • Submit false or misleading information

  • Use the Site in a manner that violates applicable law

Done Entertainment Law may restrict or terminate access to the Site when it reasonably believes these Terms have been violated.

Information You Submit

You represent that information you submit through the Site is accurate and that you have the right to provide it. You retain ownership of materials you submit. You grant the Firm a limited right to use, review, store, and process those materials as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, evaluate a potential engagement, operate the Site, protect its rights, and comply with legal or professional obligations. This provision doesn't create an attorney-client relationship or make submitted information confidential, unless expressly stated.

Artificial Intelligence

Certain Site content or visual materials may be created, edited, or enhanced with the assistance of artificial intelligence tools. AI-assisted content is provided for general informational or illustrative purposes. The Firm doesn't represent that AI-assisted material is complete, error-free, or appropriate for any person’s particular circumstances.

No visitor information will be treated as confidential solely because it is entered into an AI-enabled feature on the Site. Visitors shouldn't submit confidential information through any automated tool or public-facing website feature.

Third-Party Services and Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, scheduling tools, payment processors, social media platforms, or other services.

The Firm does not control and is not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, privacy practices, or terms. A link does not constitute an endorsement or guarantee. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that provider's terms and privacy policy.

Privacy

Information collected through the Site is handled in accordance with the Done Entertainment Law Privacy Policy. By using the Site, you acknowledge that internet communications and electronic storage cannot be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Website Availability

Done Entertainment Law may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice. The Firm does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or compatibility with every device, browser, or system.

Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and its content are provided “as is” and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express, or implied. The Firm disclaims warranties of accuracy, completeness, reliability, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, security, and non infringement.

Nothing in this section limits any warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Done Entertainment Law and its attorneys, employees, contractors, agents, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to:

  • Access to or use of the Site

  • Inability to access or use the Site

  • Reliance on Site content

  • Third-party websites or services

  • Unauthorized access to information transmitted through the Site

  • Errors, interruptions, harmful components, or loss of data

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. These limitations apply only to use of the Site and do not modify any rights or obligations arising under a separate attorney-client engagement agreement.

Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Done Entertainment Law and its attorneys, employees, contractors, and agents from third-party claims, liabilities, damages, and reasonable costs arising from:

  • Your unlawful or unauthorized use of the Site

  • Content you submit through the Site

  • Your violation of these Terms

  • Your infringement of another person’s rights.

This section does not apply to the extent a claim results from the independent wrongful conduct of Done Entertainment Law.

Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute not subject to a separate written agreement must be brought in a state or federal court with proper jurisdiction in California and each party consents to the jurisdiction of those courts. This section doesn't control a dispute governed by a separate engagement agreement between the Firm and a client.

Changes to These Terms

Done Entertainment Law may revise these Terms periodically. Changes are effective when the revised Terms are posted with an updated date as indicated by the phrase "Last Updated." Continued use of the Site after revised Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Severability and Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. A failure to enforce any provision doesn't waive the right to enforce that provision later.

Entire Agreement

These Terms and any policies incorporated by reference constitute the entire agreement concerning use of the Site. Legal services are governed exclusively by the applicable written engagement agreement. If these Terms conflict with an engagement agreement concerning legal representation, the engagement agreement controls.
